Biomechanical/Gait assessment

A gait analysis assessment involves analysing the way you walk and is carried out using a specialised 3D foot pressure mat  which provides us with a detailed breakdown on how you load your feet and load the joints in your body.

If you are suffering from aches and pains especially into the lower limb and lower back that don’t seem to go away, then a gait analysis session could help you to cope better with imbalances in your body.

Gait analysis session can help in diagnosing of common problems such as:

• Plantar fasciitis
• Repetitive strain injuries
• Dropped arches
• Metatarsalgia
• Calluses
• Achilles tendonitis
• Foot arch pain
• Heel spurs
• Lower body aches and pains

If necessary an assessment for orthotics will be made during this session  Our orthotics are tailor made to ensure that they fit your feet perfectly. Our podiatrist, Suhaib will then take an impression of your feet and will then make your orthotics in our specialised lab. Your orthotics are made with the best quality material, they are thin and will be able to fit into the majority of your shoes.
